After more than 15 years of having their skills in the transportation business, Lawrence and Stanley Sculnick, embark upon the next phase of their careers. Groupe Sculnick Transportation is opened. Working out of a warehouse with five cross-dock locks, and small file space, they set upon developing it to one of the major forces in the local transportation industry.

The first few months were spent developing contacts and getting the name on the road. Starting with one truck and 3 container chassis, they quickly developed a reputation for being aggressive and hard-nosed. Going after all types of freight. By mid march 1995, the fleet had grown to 5 p&d trucks, 4 tractors, 6 container chassis and 2 dry vans. They were on their way.

The company's biggest growth came at the end of March when they diversified into the third part logistics business, becoming the break bulk terminal for some of the larger transport companies in the United States and Canada. Picking up and distributing as well as coordinating all types of freight to and from Easter and Western Canada and the continental United States.

Over the coarse of the next two years, the company had grown and the fleet now had 40 owner operators, twenty dry vans as well as twenty five container chases able to handle import and export containers from 20', 40', 45',and 53 ', as well as having five of their own tractors.

A fully computerized dispatch handles anywhere from 500, 1000 calls per day. Their reputation for always giving the best possible service has helped develop another aspect of the business. In the fall of 1997, the next phase of the evolution of Groupe Sculnick occurred when Sculnick Freight Services was inaugurated as a full service truck load division moving freight across Canada and the United States as well as Mexico. The company has quickly become a major player in the truck load business and has gained a reputation for offering the most dependable service.

Company takes over the entire warehouse (20 doors) and moves into larger office space in the building.

Company moves into newer more modern facilities in Dorval.
Parking space for over 100 trailers.
30 cross-docks.
Separate garage facility to allow better service and preventive maintenance on all equipment.

May 1997
Company leases five tractors to enhance it's fleet of forty owner operators.

July 1997
Company starts delivering freight into the U.S.

September 2009
Courier division launched, servicing the island of Montreal and its surrounding areas.
